A Wittman Tailwind, maybe? Or even a sleek, light Buttercup. That is what I am building. But I love the Sonerai, and wish it was a good fit for me. Jeff

All share the same construction materials and overall effort to build, but the Tailwind is a much more capable airplane on the same power, so in my mind thats a big edge.

The Cougar was, I believe, pretty much a Tailwind knock-off that didn't perform as well as the Tailwind. If I were going to build something like that, it would be the Tailwind or Buttercup.
